The Importance of Desire

This is something most people don't realize. They go through life looking at things they want, or wishing they had that “perfect job”, or looking at someone else, wishing they could be like them. But then they forget about what they saw and carry on with their lives. They never come to understand one of the most important parts of the Law of Attraction. Desire.

People usually see desire as something bad, mostly thanks to what we've been taught in religion. But there is a massive difference between coveting something that belongs to someone else and desiring something for yourself.

When I say desire, I don't mean that fleeting feeling you have when you see the new car Mercedes Benz just released, or if you're a woman, those new shoes they have at the store. I mean true, overpowering desire. Wanting something so badly, that you'll almost do anything to get it. When it gives you sleepless nights thinking about how you can get it, or you find yourself daydreaming about it all the time. That's true desire.

The moment you create desire for something, you immediately start putting the Law of Attraction into motion. And the longer you hold onto that desire, the greater the chances are for you to achieve or receive what you desire.

Now, I'm not saying you should start desiring your next-door neighbour's wife or their car, or job! That would definitely cause others harm if your desire is strong enough, since the Law of Attraction is unbiased.

However, when your desire is simply for something similar to what someone else has, or something completely unrelated, where's the harm in that? Seeing a new car and desiring one like it, or desiring a promotion at your workplace, or a simple desire for wealth, health or love, these are all things that you can put into motion without harming others.

The important thing you need to understand, is that without desire, you can't achieve anything. If you don't desire an improvement to your current circumstances, you simply won't get it. So start thinking about what you want in life. Which part of your life aren't you satisfied with? If you're like me, you'll probably have so many things you want to change that you won't know where to begin. Start small. Think of something insignificant that would improve your quality of life, something you can't do or have right now. Think about it and start creating a desire for it. Once you begin to see the Law of Attraction work, you'll gain confidence to desire greater things.

How does one create desire? Pictures. When you read the word “car”, you don't see the word in your mind, you see a car. It might have plenty of detail, or it might just be a vague picture, but we as humans think in pictures. So when you want to create desire for something, get as many pictures of it in your mind as you can. If you can get physical pictures to look at, all the better. But if you can't, simply picture it in your mind. The more you can do this, the stronger your desire will become. When you can imagine something so vividly that you can almost touch it, your desire will be at its strongest.

Also, give it time. Don't desire something for a day or even a week and when nothing happens, you give up. You need to stick with that burning desire until it is made reality. And who knows, if you stopped desiring, you might have received what you desired the very next day! Some say you need to focus on one thing for 21 days before it will become a part of you. You won't necessarily have what you desire within 21 days, but once you've desired something for as long as that, it's safe to say that your desire won't be leaving any time soon.

Start right now. Make a change for the better by creating a desire that will improve some part of your life. What do you have to lose?

The Power of the Spoken Word

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. - Proverbs 18:21

It doesn't matter if you're religious or not, the fact that what you say is what you get has been discussed by people all over the world, many of whom aren't religious at all. We as humans don't fully understand the workings of the universe as we'd like, so some things are either shrugged off as ridiculous, or simply avoided because man has an inherent fear of the unknown. Those few brave souls who decide to face said unknown have reaped the rewards.

You see the power of words everywhere, whether you read or watch Rhonda Byrne's “The Secret”, or listen to one of the many motivational speakers out there, or perhaps simply the great Chinese philosopher, Confucius: “Without knowing the force of words, it is impossible to know more.”

I want to make a little change to the popular phrase, you are what you eat. Rather, I present that you are what you speak.

When you say things about yourself or your circumstances, you are speaking those things into being. With this in mind, shouldn't you at least try to keep the things you say about yourself or your circumstances positive? Even better, stop complaining about your circumstances in general! Do you lack money? Quit saying it! Start saying things like, “I'm prosperous” or, “I'm successful”. Or if you feel adventurous, go ahead and call yourself rich! Famous! Whatever you desire in your heart to be, speak it out loud!

If you want to, you can start by doing it in the mirror. Eventually it will become such a part of you, that you'll say it to other people without a second thought. It happens in the negative all the time, so why wouldn't you speak abundance into your life as well?

What do you have to lose? You can only gain. Even if you achieve nothing more than a better attitude towards life in general, start being positive. You'll be amazed at how it changes things for the better.

Paid-To-Click - Reality Or Scam?

I've wondered this myself for a long time, since like most people I've been used to having to work for money and getting paid to click things really doesn't seem like work. You might be surprised to find out that, in fact, there are valid websites where you can register to get paid for clicking on their members' ads. But truth be told, it actually is work. Frustrating, time-consuming work. It won't exhaust you, nor will it get you dirty, but it takes a lot of time.

That is the main cause for this article, actually. Time, as we all know, is money. And if you want to get paid to click on ads, you need to keep some things in mind:

1. First and foremost, do keep in mind the amount of time you spend clicking on ads and decide for yourself if it's worth it. If you do other things while the ads load (perhaps you spend a lot of time online, like me) then it's not that bad. But if you have to go online just to click ads, perhaps this isn't for you. I'd say try it for a month or so and if you find that it doesn't really interfere with your regular schedule, keep at it. Even if it takes you a year to collect $10, that's $10 you got almost for free. But if you notice that you have to make time to click ads, let it go; it won't be worth it.

2. The payment you get is incredibly small and you usually have a limited amount of clicks per day.

3. If you want this to be your main income, or you want to get rich doing it, forget it. It takes an eternity to collect enough cash for a payout. The minimum you need before you can request a payout can range from as little as 10 cents to as much as $10 or even more.

4. If you want to maximize your profit, don't just click ads in the members' area, remember, you can click ads in emails too. And if you don't want your main email account cluttered with ads, use a seperate account when you register!

5. Refer other people. Although incredibly tiny, you usually get small rewards for any ads your referrals click.

6. Don't get discouraged after a month if you can't make a payout. Like I said, it takes forever. But if you have enough of these working together, once you can afford to make a payout, they can add together for some pocket change that you wouldn't have had otherwise and might need for some other endeavor, like SFI that I spoke about in my previous post.

7. Be careful about which sites you join. Reliable sites usually pay in the range of 0.01 to 0.25 cents per click. If a website tells you they'll pay $50 or often even more per click, that's a scam. Usually what happens there is you need to make a payment to THEM before you can "be paid". And that will also be the last you hear of them; your $10 or $15 goes straight to their coffers and you won't be getting richer any time soon. Another way to see if a site is a scam or not is to see how long they've been in business. The better sites will be proud of their time online and will have existed for at least a couple of years.

I hope you found that useful, I know it would have helped me a lot if someone told me all of that years ago!

Here are a few sites you can join that I've verified as reliable:

Working from home: Is it possible to make a profit?

This is a question many people ask every day. Indeed it's a question I've asked myself countless times. Not only is it a valid question, but it's also a more important question than you might realize. The internet is the future, be it of marketing, or sales, or simply information itself.

Several years ago when working from home and making a profit online was still like finding the proverbial pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, I got involved with so many scams and fake "programs" that, like many others, I ultimately quit trying and decided it was impossible to make money online. Not without a substantial investment upfront at least.

Fast forward to 2016 and I suddenly realized how many people were actually making money online. Some were making pocket change, helping them save up for that summer vacation they had been planning for years, or even just to buy something small they really wanted now and then. Others make more than that; enough, in fact, to fire their bosses. Who doesn't like the sound of that? And then there are the real top-tier internet entrepreneurs, who make hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars every year, working from the comfort of their homes. Or vacation homes, for that matter.

The point I'm trying to make, is that it really is possible to make a profit online. And a substantial one, at that. But most people fail, not because they lack intelligence, but because there are so many scams out there! They end up wasting money, or simply become discouraged because nothing seems like it could possibly work.

What most people need, isn't a thousand different websites telling them how they can make $1000 an hour reading emails, but actual information on how to start their own online business. And yes, I call it a business, because that is exactly what it is.

Look at the following scenario:

Your boss comes to you and says,

"Joe/Susan, I'm sorry, but we're cutting back and we won't be able to keep you here past the end of the month."

What will be your first reaction? Shock? Disappointment? Panic? Or will you simply shrug and say to yourself,

"No sweat, it's high time I did my own thing anyway."

Not many people will adopt the latter attitude. But that is exactly the attitude you need to succeed for yourself.

Yourself. That's an important word right there. When you work for someone else, you are working to make THEM rich. You'll never get rich yourself by working for someone else. Sure, for the most part you have a guaranteed paycheck every month, but in today's shifting economy, how long will even that last? No, you need to work for yourself if you want to get ahead.

So, you've gone the correct route and decided to start your own business. When you get a great idea for a business, how would you go about doing it? Are you going to poke around a bit and then decide it's not going to work, or are you going to put everything you have into it and try your best to make it a roaring success?

That's another reason most people fail to succeed online. Persistence. You need to stick with something if you want to succeed. Jumping ship all the time won't get you anywhere. Decide on a program, a system, or whatever you would like to do online and keep at it. And remember the words of famous author Napoleon Hill:

"There may be no heroic connotation to the word ‘persistence’, but the quality is to the character of man what carbon is to steel."

While we're on the topic of this great teacher, do yourself a favor and find his book, "Think and Grow Rich" and read it. Or if you don't like reading, find the audio book. A quick google will give you many results to choose from, some even free! That book will teach you how important an actual desire is for the things you want.

Right, so now that I've given you something to think about, not to mention some reading/listening material, let's dive in, shall we? You might be wondering where on earth to start, since there are so many scams and get-rich-quick schemes online. Below you'll see a banner for one of the largest internet business opportunities in the world. SFI has been in business since 1998, with millions of members worldwide. Now is your chance to get in on it all and make something for yourself! Just click on the banner and you'll be taken to the info/sign up page where you'll see what they're all about.

What's amazing about SFI is that you don't have to purchase anything to get started. That's right, you don't need any money up front. All you need is determination and the will to succeed.
